With Windows Vista announcement last month, Sony updated its 17 inch AR series with new models: VAIO VGN-AR390E, VAIO VGN-AR320E and VAIO VGN-AR250G. All three models are featuring Core 2 Duo CPUs (T7200(2GHz), T5500(1.66 GHz) and T7200(2GHz) respectively) and equipped with 2Gb of RAM memory, doubling Microsoft memory requirement of 1GB for Windows Vista Home Premium and Business editions.

High-end VAIO VGN-AR390E is featuring blue-ray optical drive, 240GB hard drive and NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 7600 GT with 527MB Video RAM graphics and Built-in Camera and integrated Bluetooth® Technology. Sony ships this model with Windows Vista™ Home Premium.

VAIO VGN-AR320E is equipped with 160GB Hard drive, NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 7600 GT with 335MB Video RAM graphics and Built-in Camera. Sony ships this model with Windows Vista™ Home Premium.

VAIO VGN-AR250G is equipped with 200GB Serial ATA hard drive, NVDIA® GeForce® Go 7600 with 128MB Video RAM and Built-in Camera and Integrated Bluetooth® Technology. VAIO VGN-AR250G is shipped with Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition 2005 with Express Upgrade to Windows Vista
