Sony Annonced The Windows Vista Express Upgrade program
Sony announced The Windows Vista Express Upgrade program. The program lets you upgrade a Sony® VAIO® Windows® XP unit purchased on or after October 26th 2006 to a corresponding version of Microsoft’s new Vista operating system for a very low price – in some cases even free! When you buy an eligible Sony notebook between 10/26/06 and 03/15/07, you’ll receive a free upgrade from Windows XP MCE and XP Professional to the equivalent versions of Windows Vista. When upgrading from Windows XP Home Edition you have two choices: Windows Vista Home Basic for $45 or Windows Vista Home Premium for $75 (Free shipping and handling in both cases)
