Sony VAIO VGN-AR270 Core 2 Duo with Blu-ray
Sony now offer, through its online shopping center, Core 2 Duo VAIO VGN-AR270 with Blue-ray customizable 17″ Multimedia Powerhouse notebooks. Starting configuration for this model features Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2 GHz CPU, 160GB (80GB x 2) SATA 4200rpm Hard drive, 1 GB DDR-SDRAM (DDR2-533, 512 MBx2) and DVD+-R Double Layer DVD+-RW Drive with Blu-Ray Disc Support. Sony offers only 4200RPM SATA Hard drives with VGN-AR270. Starting price of $3039.99 for this model makes it more than $300 cheaper than Core Duo VGN-AR190G ($ 3,399.99) with bigger and faster 200GB 5400RPM Hard drive.
