Lenovo is one of the last among major laptop manufacturers to offer Core 2 Duo configurations of its notebooks. And not surprisingly, Lenovo offers Core 2 Duo in N series of its Home and home office oriented line of laptops and not in ThinkPads (business oriented laptops). This move is in line with common trend among major manufacturers who first offered Core 2 Duo in multimedia oriented and thus more power hungry home laptops. Lenovo doesn’t offer Core 2 Duo in C series (cheap entry level and mainstream notebooks) and in Ultra-portable V series (which is in line with common trend among manufacturers).

Lenovo offer two Core 2 Duo models in N series built around Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 (1.6GHz): 14 inch and 15 inch widescreens.
