HP Disk Sanitizer allows you to completely erase your hard drive data prior to disposal or service event.
* Reliability: Designed to meet tough business standards including a strong, durable magnesium reinforced frame and spill–resistant keyboard. Cnet reviewed HP Compaq nx7400 and writes: “The economical HP Compaq nx7400 brings a brand-new form factor to HP’s corporate laptop family. Lighter than the HP Compaq nc8230, the HP Compaq nx7400 combines the benefits of a big 15.4-inch wide screen and Intel Core Duo processors with a low price.
Missing from this equation are some higher-end features, such as biometric security (a fingerprint sensor), dedicated graphics cards, and wireless WAN, found on more expensive portables. But for employees who use their portables to perform mostly basic office tasks and who don’t handle highly sensitive data, the HP Compaq nx7400 provides a decent combination of performance, battery life, and features.
The nx7400 didn’t break any records in CNET Labs’ benchmarks, but it still provided plenty of speed to complete basic office tasks. The system finished in front of the Lenovo 3000 N100 and trailed not too far behind the better-equipped, Core Duo cousin to the Acer TravelMate 4650, the TravelMate 8200. In our Labs’ drain tests, the HP delivered a bit more than 3.5 hours of runtime, slightly ahead of both the Acer and the Lenovo.”
